| Erik's Bio Erik is a self taught musician. He got his first drum set at the age of 13 and from that point on was determined to kick ass on the drums. He started out practicing his skills to Kiss, Def Leppard's High and Dry albums and Ratt's Out of the Cellar ablums and perfected the skins. Erik sharpened his craft in several local underground metal bands before being approached by Publik Parking in February 2004. He is hailed as one of the top drummers in the local music scene as having the most extreme, unique, heavy hitting chops around. Erik is also responsible for all the Publik Parking recordings and mastering and is co-owner of Reckless Entertainment. Erik currently uses a customized 8 piece Ludwig with Yamaha electronic drums mixed within the setup along with latin percussion, Zildgjian and Sabian cymbals to make it complete. Erik's musical influences include Kiss, Tommy Lee of Motley Crue, Mike Portnoy of Dream Theater, Queesryche, Korn, and Marilyn Manson. |
